Chris H. Lynn


Chris H. Lynn is a film maker, sound artist, educator, and curator. His digital images, super 8 films and audio capture the subtle rhythms of light, movement, and sound in urban and rural landscapes, many of which includes China, where he has filmed extensively since 2008. His work has been screened in a variety of venues around the globe and recently featured in the book Cinema and the AudioVisual Imagination published by I.B Tauris. Lynn’s sound work consists of field recordings, minimal compositions and audio from his moving images. These recordings have been documented and released on various netlabels and radio. Recently his work was screened at the American Film Institute, Anthology Film Archives, and was a visiting artist at the Visual Studies Workshop in Rochester, New York.
