Marc Perez is a transdisciplinary performer-composer-improviser, scholar, archivist, community organizer and author who is based within California, USA. Their work focuses on the intersection of improvisation, spaces, accessibility and community as a whole through mediums of performances, composition premieres, publications, conferences and local focused communal engagement throughout the US and internationally. Although their primary instrument is trombone, their performance practice extends to various other low brass instruments, winds, children's toys, percussion, the body & voice, and piano as well.
